The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram for use in the Great Release Program

lbr

The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram by Silver RavenWolf as taken from her book HexCraft published by Llewellyn World Wide copyright 1995/2012

This rite is from The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses.  The words here are of Hebrew origin.

The Cross of the Qabalists is the equal-armed “Greek Cross” of the four elements and the four directions, which are like the Crux Ansata of Egypt.  The words are the Hebrew Qabalist formula of invocation of the Creator, which is our Lady and our Lord together.  They mean “for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever,” later used by the Hebrew teacher Yehshuah.

The names intoned toward the four directions are mighty and powerful names.  AGLA is believed to be a combination of initials of invocation, representing a powerful formula of invocation of the Qabalists.

The Archangels are the rulers of the directions of the elements in the magickal traditions.  The totems of the four directions may be summoned as the protectors as well.

The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram

There are four parts to the rite.

1.  The Qabalistic Cross of the Hebrew Sages

2.  The Pentagrams and the Sacred Names.

3.  The Invocations of the Archangels of the Directions.

4.  The Qabalistic Cross, repeated.

Take your time with the intonation of your words.  Visualize as best you can, concentrating particularly on your visions of the angels listed and the banishing pentagram.  The more you use this banishing technique the better it will work for you.  I have friends who have used it in a subway, on a train, in a plane, and even during an earthquake to keep themselves safe.  Once you have practiced the technique aloud, you can easily close your eyes and visualize the entire process so that in an emergency, no one will know what you are doing.

Touching the left shoulder, say:

Ve-ged-oolah

Clasping hands at heart, say:

The Pentagrams and the Sacred Names

The Invocations of the Archangels of the Directions
