This Week’s Theme — Peace in the Moment
This week we are going to practice Peace in the Moment — where each day you will pause for at least fifteen seconds (more if you can) filling your mind with white light and breathing deeply. Hold that white light as long as you can — when a thought crosses your mind…any thought…the exercise is completed. There is no wrong way to do this — white light…hold…hold…hold (remember to breathe deeply)…you’re done. If you like, continue to use the Peace Prayer in your daily activities (located in Day 2 of the program). When you have finished with this week’s theme exercise, move on to today’s fun activities!
Silver’s Notes — Today you are one third of the way through the program! Whoot! Whoot! Count yourself among the strong and determined. I applaud your tenacity!
Today’s artwork centers around one of my manifestation charms. I use the poem often, stating first what I desire, then intoning the words 9 times. I created a sigil out of the words, so that I could also use it in paper form as a petition in conjuring bags, sachets and pillows. The words are:
From nothing to something I will this thing to form. I know that it will manifest And to this world be born!
If you need prosperity in your life, try using my manifestation charm while placing your hand on this sigil I created for Braucherei students:
Write the amount of money you need on the back of the sigil, along with your name 9 times. Turn the sigil over and dress with your favorite magickal oil or the formula we made this week. If you like, place a yellow, red or gold candle to the right and left of the sigil on your altar. Place your dominant hand on the sigil, state what you wish to draw toward you aloud, then repeat the manifestation charm 9 times. Finish by drawing and equal-armed cross in the air over the sigil and stating loudly, “Money comes easily to me. I always have what I need and more.” Allow the candles to burn completely. I realize that the Sun is not conjunct Jupiter at this time; however, we have found that the sigil operates very well on its own as a representation of the desired energy and works as a type of portal for good fortune, particularly during a new or first quarter moon.
Today’s Magickal Challenge
A new moon provides loads of opportunity for moving forward and crafting our thoughts and actions to reach the success and happiness we desire. A Sagittarius New Moon is bursting with opportunity to enhance the self and bring joy into our lives. Fire is the active element of Sagittarius, a mutable energy that welcomes ingenuity, joy and change. Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, is considered the Great Beneficent, and lends itself well to prosperity magicks and growth of all kinds.
Your magickal challenge today is to read the possible enchantment correspondences related to the Algiz/Eolh Rune and in some way — that which feels the most positive to you — employ the rune in your New Moon meditation, spell, ritual or other magickal working.
Today’s Physical Challenge
Today’s physical challenge is to wash your front door and clean out the entry way both inside and outside of the door. For example, if you have a front porch, sweep that off as well. You can use the formulas I gave in previous posts, or you can choose a different blend or cleaner. Scatter salt outside the door on the pavement or porch to destroy negativity clinging to those who enter your home. Dress the door frame inside and out with holy water. I also add clove oil and draw pentacles on the door frame on both sides for extra protection. When you are finished, welcome the bright energies of prosperity and happiness into your living environment by lighting a white candle and standing at the threshold of the open door, facing outside, stating the words “Happiness, Joy, and Good Fortune” (or words that you wish) and intoning the manifestation charm given at the beginning of this post 9 times. Make an equal-armed cross in the air with the candle flame to seal the spell. Allow the candle to burn completely on your altar.
