Your Challenge Today – Underwear Day! — Today is the super fun day of getting rid of all those gnarly undies, replacing with new if necessary, and re-arranging where you keep those special unmentionables – or maybe mentionable — whatever! This is the clothing you wear closest to your skin; but, is often ignored; however, thy drawers even washed are most potent indeed if they fall in the hands of a magickal person that knows what they’re doing! NEVER leave your undies lying around. Right? If you don’t wear underwear – good for you. Pick another challenge.
Just for you Rita! Just for you, lol! – this is a standing joke because Rita always goes to La Perla as a yearly pilgrimage for the Great Release Program since the first year we offered Underwear Day. Not a bad idea!
Just remember…to complete today’s main challenge you must throw or give away one physical item.
Ten Points of Balance – Is a breathing exercise that helps to calm you when your nerves are rattled, gives you assistance when you wish to move forward but are unsure or stuck, helps when you are filled with grief…in fact, it is a great universal technique, including preparing for magick and raising power.
So simple! This practice takes 1 minute — a mere 60 seconds to do (although you can use the technique for longer periods of time for greater benefit). Stand. Feet hip width apart. Open fingers touching open fingers in front of you. Index to index, thumb to thumb, etc. Fingers should be open (meaning space between the fingers on each hand), not together like the prayer position.
The ten points reference is the ten fingers touching, which immediately sets up an energy exchange between right and left sides of the body. Now, with fingers still touching, move hands closer to you so that your thumbs touch your heart chakra. Breathe deeply 3 times (8 to 10 seconds breathing in, pause, 8 to 10 seconds breathing out). This position is a sealer/grounder; but, it is also a powerful energy generator. Your intent is the key. For example, do the exercise with the purpose of grounding and centering – consider how you feel afterward. Now, set an intention, like activating a candle for healing, do the practice and feel the power begin to swirl from hand to hand and into the body and then from hand to hand again. When you feel strong and have held your focus, push that energy into your candle. Roll the candle back and forth in your hands, if you like, or touch the candle without breaking concentration.
