Silver’s Notes: Only 7 More Days!

Over the past several days I have received several requests for help with money magick. This time of year is super stressful and many families have found themselves worrying over the outlay of cash and their lack of resources. Both today’s magickal challenge and physical challenge focus on your prosperity. In your physical challenge, which you should do first, be honest with yourself and consider where you are hemorrhaging cash. These leaks can be subtle – a charge to your bank for an overdraw – your kid ate the candy bars he was supposed to sell for a school function and you are stuck holding the empty box with the due date for the money tomorrow – a magazine subscription that when the magazine comes in the mail? you toss it in the corner and never read it — the lunch meat your partner let set out on the counter behind the toaster and of course, it went bad — the light in the basement that no one remembers to turn off (which you discover is costing you $28.00 a month). Your Physical Challenge Today, then, is to seriously look at your invisible budget — that hidden off the books monster that is gorging itself on your money — and figure out ways to starve it. I understand that this isn’t a one day fix; however, choosing to deal with the problem is half the battle and sets the energy field up around you to accept prosperity — not debt. Although I rarely mention my books in the column, you may wish to read my Silver’s Spells for Prosperity, available on Amazon and through many bookstores. You may also want to add Jason Miller’s Financial Sorcery to your collection on money magick – is is a good one and can also be purchased through Amazon.

Magickal Challenge

On Yule I spent all night researching the best way to present a prosperity spell to you based on Hermetic Principles that works. I used Franz Bardon’s Initiation into Hermetics and Sybil Leek’s Cast Your Own Spell. If you are on Instagram, you may have seen my picture posts as I worked along, writing out my thought process on graph paper. The following day I performed the spell — it was successful within 30 seconds of the of the last candle’s complete burn. I cannot guarantee that this spell will work for you in the same way; but, it is worth a try and certainly fun to perform.

When reading the list of ingredients and supplies — don’t panic. If you don’t have something listed — that’s okay. I’m only telling you everything I used. Substitutions are just fine.

The first step, before you gather your supplies, is to do the Physical Challenge for today — looking over your last month’s expenditures and seeing where that money-sucking-monster is hiding. Then, think carefully how you are going to stop feeding the beast.

Next, let’s write down a prosperity statement that is tailored specifically to you and your situation. Don’t be too vague. Take time with this statement until it resonates within yourself — this is when you feel confident that the statement, charm or poem is right for you. I have a simple charm that you can use (what I intoned with the original spell) and will list it here; however, feel free to change this charm to better meet your needs.

Gather all the money that is under your control in the house — both change and paper. You aren’t going to use anyone else’s money — just your own. Trying to explain why you want your partner to empty his or her wallet doesn’t help this spell along, and then, you must deal with their doubt. Silence is best unless the two of you are absolutely on the same magickal page. Trust me on this — I’ve been married for over 30 years.

Once you have all the money, you are ready to set up the spell. I used 9 green beeswax chime candles that I rolled specifically for money using my mega money draw formula. Using beeswax allowed me to set the candles on the plate without having to use a candle holder because I could massage the wax flat to the plate. You could also use green tea candles, if you like. The only problem I had when casting the spell was that the water from around the candles crawled up into the wicking. This didn’t negatively affect the spell as the water was charged; but, it did cut the burn time of the candles by about 10 minutes.

If red candles resonate better for you in money concerns, by all means — use red candles! If you only have white? No worries. That will work, too. Now, why do I say that? Because the spell was written on the basis of magnetism — the colors and my mega formula for the candles are bells and whistles — more bang for my buck…literally. I used the “extras” to ramp up the spell.

Next, glue four magnets to the underside of the pie plate. I glued them at the compass points (north, east, south, west). Fan the paper money on the green altar cloth. It is okay if you only have three dollars. Whatever you have will be fine. Place the glass pie plate on top. I used glass so that you can see the money while chanting. Dress the candles, if you like, with magickal money oil or an attraction oil. I did not do this. I’ll tell you why in a moment. Position the candles inside the plate and scatter all but nine coins around the candles. We will use the 9 coins to easily count the number of times we say the chant. Position the crystal inside the plate where ever you like — again, the crystal was used for more power. You don’t have to have it. How do I know you don’t have to have it? Because I’ve done hundreds of successful money spells in the past without a crystal.

Set a bowl of blessed spring water in the freezer or fridge. Use your thermometer to test when it reaches 39 degrees. That is when we will actually do the spell. In his book, Initiation into Hermetics, on page 77, Franz Bardon tells us that “the colder the water — the greater the capacity for accumulation”- with the optimum temperature being 39 degrees at its greatest ability to accept a charge”. He goes on to say that any temperature of water can hold a wish because the impregnation of the water occurs by the use of the 5th element (Akasha). Since our spell is all about magnetism and the attraction of something, we want to use this water when it is at its greatest potential — 39 degrees Fahrenheit which is 4 degrees centigrade.

When the water is at its proper temperature, hold the chilled bowl in your hands and repeat that prosperity statement you wrote earlier nine times. Pour the water into the pie plate — it should cover the coins. Line up your nine remaining coins around the pie plate. Earlier, I told you I didn’t use a magickal oil, that is because I used a Universal Fluid Condenser instead, adding 10 drops to the water in the bowl. I could also have used Chamomile Fluid Condenser, which takes less time and effort to make.

Next, cast a magick circle. Intone the Morning Braucherei Chant 3 times. Then, say:

“The Lord of Five Points rode to Four Corners while the Circle of She declares what will be!”

Here, the Lord of Five Points stands for the five elements (Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Spirit). The Circle of She is the FIELD of Potential, which you have set and protected with your magick circle. Male and Female also gives us polarity and balance. At this point, anything is possible!

Our main chant is next. Repeat it 9 times, and as you begin each repetition, drop a coin in the bowl being careful not to knock over any of the candles (which I did, so I heated the bottom of one of them and stuck it to a coin, then placed the whole thing in the bowl). Which just goes to show that error can be fixed without screwing the spell. If you do make a mistake, just take a breath and say aloud: “That’s okay. I know it will work, anyway!” and then continue on. If you blow up your altar? Okay, that’s a different story and perhaps you should stop and re-think your original intent. Repeat the following chant, 9 times. You might want to practice it first — you need to be in the rhythm of the words. Take your time. Do it the way it feels right.

Change to change (meaning change for the better and money) Money to Money Fortune to Fortune Joy to Joy Free to Free Money and goods come easily to me!

While you chant your hands will become warm (and not because they are too close to the candles, right?). You can let the energy go at the end of the last repetition OR, if you feel you haven’t reached where you need to in the energy raising, repeat the last line as many times as necessary “money and goods come easily to me” to the point where either you have lost the thought OR you feel really good about the energy punch — whichever comes first.

That’s it. You’re done. Pull up the circle in your hands, and then expel it into the burning candles. Let the candles burn completely. Throw them away when they are cold. Put the change in a jar and give it to charity, or if you are having a very bad run, spend it on something you need for the home and family, or use part of the change in future conjuring bags for money drawing work. Dress the paper money with the charged water from the pie plate, and tuck at least one bill in a safe place in your wallet. Spend the rest as you desire.

You can keep the charged water from the pie plate for 7 days in the fridge, continuing to use it to dress items to draw money toward you, for anointing any money that comes into your possession in the next week, or you can pour the water into a free flowing body of water. If you keep it, be sure to mark the bottle so that someone doesn’t drink it by mistake.

Within 30 seconds of finishing this spell — someone handed me money, which I promptly dressed, and hung it to dry in the center of the home (another little Braucherei trick to coax money to the heart of the family).

Now, I know that some smarty-pants out there is saying, “Well, she only said all this so that you will buy her candles.”

Guess what? My shop is closed for the next two weeks for the holiday, which totally stops the impulse buy scenario. I want you to wing it. I know you can do it.
