I wanted to connect with you all and share some updates about the communication efforts of my WhisperMagick online store. As many of you may have noticed, I haven’t sent out emails lately, and I want to explain why.

Recently, I learned that Wix, the platform I use to manage my website and marketing, has changed their pricing structure. They now charge separately for marketing emails, which are no longer included in the website package I currently subscribe to. They have also significantly increased their rates in general. As a small, single-owner business, I strive to manage my resources wisely, and at this time, raising my marketing budget or switching to a higher-priced package is just not feasible. Unfortunately, with Wix, there is currently no affordable middle ground, as I have over 1,000 subscribers to my store communications. This hampering of business made it impossible to announce sales, coupon offerings, and information in general.

While the limit (200 total emails per month for the plan) has been a bump in the road, I am actively exploring alternative marketing options to stay connected with you. For now, I will continue to engage with all of you through my social media channels—Facebook, Instagram, Substack, Bsky, and X—as well as through my WordPress blog. These platforms will be my primary means of sharing updates about my store, WhisperMagick.com, the books I create, and insights into my magickal life in general.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this interesting time. We’re all navigating some rough economic seas right now, and your support means the world to me. What I love about my customers? Is the communication. I see them as part of my magickal family, and not being able to reach them is very distressing to me. Please continue to check in on my social media for the latest news and updates, as I will be redesigning some of my posts to include more Whispermagick.com information.
