Mojo Update: Update on Rescue Puppy Mojo: Exciting Milestones!
14 September 2025 -- Merry Meet! I wanted to share the latest updates on our rescued Australian cattle dog, Mojo, who suffered a TBI when only a few weeks old. It’s been a big week for him, filled with new experiences and progress!
First off, Mojo had his first round of inoculations! He’s now one step closer to being ready for playdates with other furry friends, although he's not quite allowed to socialize yet until he finishes his shot sequence. In the meantime, we’ve been getting creative with fun activities to keep him entertained.
One of the highlights of his week was getting to run off-leash in the newly built dog run. It’s fantastic to see him stretch his little legs and enjoy the freedom! He even had the chance to play frisbee for the first time. Watching him chase after the frisbee with pure joy was a delight, and he’s definitely got the enthusiasm for it, although right now, the soft toy is almost as big as he is.
We’ve also been focused on potty training, which is progressing slowly but surely. He’s starting to get the hang of it, and I’m encouraged by his continued efforts. In addition to potty training, we’re working on some basic commands. Mojo is doing really well with “sit,” and we’ve been incorporating both voice commands and hand signals. It’s so rewarding to see him respond!
The beautiful weather here in south-central Pennsylvania has been a major bonus for Mojo’s recuperation. We’ve been enjoying long walks and playtime, soaking up the sunshine together. It really boosts both our spirits!
To keep his mind engaged, we introduced a puzzle food dish. Mojo loves figuring out how to get to his treats hidden inside, and it’s a great, stimulating activity -- a perfect addition to our daily routine.
Overall, Mojo is thriving and growing every day. I can't wait to share more updates and, of course, more adorable photos as he continues to explore the world around him. We all hope for the best recovery possible. Stay tuned for more adventures with our little furball! Today, Mojo and I will be pouring candles -- Macintosh Apple for Abundance -- my favorite!!

When my Odin was a baby I had caught covid shortly after we got him so during my recovery I binge watched the entire series of Its Me or the Dog on Discovery, the dog trainer Victoria Stillwell was amazing and very knowledgeable. I trained him using all of her techniques and he learned quickly and is a good boy now. Well as good as a corgi can be anyway lol. But its better than paying for a trainer she was very helpful in helping me with training my pup. Just thought I would share that with you. I am glad he is doing well he is a little cutie. He reminds me of my little Mojo ❤️
