Hecate, the ancient Greek goddess, is often associated with magic, witchcraft, and the night, embodying the mysteries of life and death. Revered as the protector of the household and the goddess of the moon, she holds dominion over the realms of the dead, guiding souls in their afterlife journey. Hecate's connection with dogs is particularly significant; these animals were believed to serve as her sacred companions, symbolizing loyalty and the ability to navigate between the living and the dead. In many myths, she is depicted with a fearsome pack of hounds, reinforcing her role as a guardian of the threshold between worlds and as a powerful figure in the transition from life to death.  This Spirit Animal is fashioned as a protective focus, invoking the power and protection of Queen Hecate during its construction.

Protection Braucherei paper sigil, Quartz Crystal and selected herbs in cotton conjure bag in body of dog.  String embellishment with resin bone-shaped charm.  Charm contains rosemary from our garden and amethyst chips.

Fun design that is somewhat pose-able, this delightful hound is a recreation of my Scrappy Cat design developed several years ago.  Legs are hard-stuffed; but, body is soft stuffed and also contains the conjure bag with crystal insert.  Soft body allows the animal to adopt various positions, including lounging nicely over the back of your favorite rocking chair or sofa.  Head is hand-stitched to the body.  Due to the hand stitching and the quartz crystal inside, this dog is not a toy and not for children.
 
Hecate's Hound (you will have to give the puppy a name to make it your very own) loves cuddle time, the sound of rain,  soft music, fluffy pillows, and comfy bedding!    Oh...and don't forget the patchouli - this canine loves it!
 
Hecate's Hound was buried in a special box for three days, and then completed with a birthing ceremony before the spirit animal reaches you. You don't pay for this. That's just how I make them almost all my dolls and creatures. 
 
My intent in creating Hecate's Hound was to bring you joy.   To me, each creature I design carries its own special energy. I promise no magick.  I give you only a very unique product and my interesting imagination of the intention.  The Braucherei Rhyme associated with this offering is about your courage and spirit, and how nothing has power over you, whether it be an animal, disease, ghost, demon, or human (depending on what you believe, of course).  As Hecate's Hound, I use mine to help me find solutions and petition the dead -- seeking and finding is all a part of this spirit animal's mythos.
