2015 Great Release Program Day 7 – December 7 2015 by Silver RavenWolf
Every day you must throw something away!
Monday 4th Quarter Moon in Scorpio (Banishing!)
Ideal Planetary Hour for Magick — Mars Hour for Scorpio Energy – Moon Hour for the Ruler of the Day
Today may be an intensely emotional day — use those emotions in a positive way to power your magick.
This Week’s Theme: Peace in the Moment
The Foundation — Begin your day with the Braucherei Morning cleansing and empowerment exercise (please view first post of the program ).
This Week’s Theme — Peace in the Moment
This week we are going to practice Peace in the Moment — where each day you will pause for at least fifteen seconds (more if you can) filling your mind with white light and breathing deeply. Hold that white light as long as you can — when a thought crosses your mind…any thought…the exercise is completed. There is no wrong way to do this — white light…hold…hold…hold (remember to breathe deeply)…you’re done. If you like, continue to use the Peace Prayer in your daily activities (located in Day 2 of the program). When you have finished with this week’s theme exercise, move on to today’s fun activities!
Silver’s Notes — I know how busy life can be during this time of year. I’m right there with you! If you can’t accomplish everything listed each day in the program — no worries. Do what you can, when you can do it. As long as you throw or give one thing away each day — you are golden with the challenge! Saturday was a really busy day for me with attending the Girls’ on the Run Finale for my granddaughter in the morning, pouring candles in the afternoon, making dinner for visiting family, and seeing a movie later in the evening. Squeezing in Saturday’s challenges was…a challenge! Oh! I forgot! And writing the next day’s challenge, too! On top of that, I’ve been sharing my computer with an employed college student who has no internet access so that they can complete their classes for this semester. There have been a few eye-roll/sigh/chill-the-rising-irritation minutes for both of us as we try to juggle our schedules for use of the computer.
I’m sure some of you are wondering why I don’t write the program a month or two early, that way posting each day would be easy and I could do it at the same time. I actually have a good reason (my mind, therefore my strange perception) for writing and doing the program at the same time — I like to flow with the energy of the time period we are working in. I think it makes the program that more useful for all of us. It is as if I tune-in to the power of the days as they blossom before us, seeking to make the most of what is to be.
At the beginning of the program, I asked you what your goals for this year’s program are for you, and where you see yourself five years from now. Today, reaffirm your program goals and spend at least a few minutes visualizing yourself in five years. How will you look? What will you be doing? Having trouble with this one? Be imaginative! See yourself smiling, dressed the way you would like, doing what you love to do. That’s a good start. Using this positive type of visualization helps you to COLLAPSE the possibilities to create the path that you desire from both ends — now and the future.
Something to contemplate.
Today’s Magickal Challenge!
Today’s Magickal Challenge focuses on the Isa/Is Rune. Freya Aswynn, in her book “Leaves of Yggdrasil” (published by Llewellyn World Wide), talks of Isa as the catalyst for creation (page 57) — it is the energy of “control”; yet, it is also the basis of invention — if we lack, we create to fill the void. Isa is an excellent vehicle for stopping a situation that has gotten out of control. It is perfect for slowing things down a bit until we can take a breath and choose where new growth should appear. The picture above is a replica of one of the earliest quilt blocks constructed by Amish women in the United States. What better restful state than under a quilt of Isa, where no evil can attack from the outside world?
In Braucherei, to stop an offense until you can prepare an adequate defense, the situation is written on a piece of paper and then covered with the Isa Rune, front and back. This paper is thrown into the freezer while calling out the rune name nine times, instructing the rune to freeze the situation (or person). The only warning I will give you here is that if you take the paper out before you are ready — expect all heck to break loose.
Consider today if you need to use the Isa Rune in your magick — and then…come up with a unique application for it. Post how you have chosen to use the rune, if you like.
Today’s Physical Challenge
Today’s Physical Challenge — Catch-up Day! Work on whatever you weren’t able to accomplish in the last six days. If you see something that should take top priority; but, wasn’t mentioned — do that. If you are all caught up — either take it easy today (remember to throw or give one thing away), or choose a task that might be individual to you and your hobby or family interests.
Today’s Summary
Practice the Peace in the Moment Exercise.
Repeat the Peace Prayer and practice the Star Throw Blessing if you like.
Putting the Isa Rune into Play (or not).
Catch-up Day!
Throw or give one thing away (most important task)
Don’t forget to add the coins to your Joy Jar!
Sleep well and see ya in the morning!
Peace with the Gods Peace with Nature Peace Within!
