This Week’s Theme — The Empowerment of Self
On Day 12 you were given the challenge of designing a Five Rays of Joy program tailored just for you– a set of magickal steps you will use each morning as soon as you wake up. This activity is designed to boost your self esteem and magnetize the field around you with positive, uplifting energy. This week, try your best to use your Five Rays of Joy sequence first thing in the morning, and any time you are feeling depressed, stressed, frightened or unhappy. Focus on the positive. Take deep breaths, and if you run into an extremely stressful problem, run your hands under cold water while breathing deeply.
If you like, continue to use the Peace Prayer in your daily activities (located in Day 2 of the program) and and Peace in the Moment visualization. When you have finished with this week’s theme exercise, move on to today’s fun activities!
Today’s Magickal Challenge
I read in someone’s post that they were interested in following the Moon in the Signs in the coming year. To help you I am posting my Angelic Zodiac Wheel — which gives astrological/angelic starter information that can be used in everyday living, magick in general, ritual, meditation, healing pursuits and spellcasting. I originally designed the chart for my Angels — Companions in Magick book, which is still available in many bookstores, through Llewellyn World Wide, and Amazon.
Today’s First Quarter Moon is in Aquarius. Look on the chart to see what magicks might be associated with Aquarius — the chart shows friends, hopes, wishes, organizations, rewards and projecting our talents. The color associated with Aquarius on this chart is Iridescent Blue. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus (modern) and Saturn (Classical). Its energy is often “public” — what others see. Aquarius moon magick works well for charity and charitable pursuits (making socks for the homeless or donating food to a pantry). Remember that the moon is in her first quarter — beginnings. Given this information — perform a spell, meditation, ritual, etc. wherein your intent flows easily with the ideas provided on the chart and in this paragraph.
If you want to continue to use the chart in this way, you may wish to keep track of your magickal workings in a journal so that you know, by experience, which moon in what sign works best for you. For example, I always look forward to the window between mid-Scorpio and all of Sagittarius because that is an excellent time for me and my work does very well.
Please remember that this chart is merely a guideline — there is so much more information on all the topics. Hopefully, this chart is suitable for your Book of Shadows and can get you started, or you can use it as a quick reference.
Today’s Physical Challenge
Monday is ruled by the moon so let’s choose a physical task that has really been bothering you! Something that you keep saying, “This so annoys me — I really have to do something about it!” Today is the day to take care of it!
Practice the Peace in the Moment Exercise.
Repeat the Peace Prayer, Star Throw Blessing, and Peace in the Moment exercises if you like.
Practice your personal Five Rays of Joy wake-up program.
Cast a spell or practice a meditation or perform a ritual based on the information given in the Angelic Zodiac Chart.
Do One Three-Minute Dash!
Complete a physical project today that has been annoying you.
Throw out or give one thing away (most important task)
Don’t forget to add the coins to your Joy Jar!
Peace with the Gods Peace with Nature Peace Within
Sleep Well and see you tomorrow!
